Dry Oil Spray

     It was really hot up to last Thursday, but now it's raining continuously. Most Bangali trendy girls forgot to put oil on their hair for god knows how long. Oil required for scalp as well on hair. I found a solution for that, "Dry Oil Spray". 

     We have now more options in case of style. Hair straightener, curler, Volumizers etc. all are with high heat. Also almost 60% girls love to color their hair. Of course, there is no age of styling hair. But at the same time our original hair is much more valuable.

      Most of the people think only the root is the important part, so over looking the rest of the hair causes dull, rough, damaged, split end hair. Result trimming again and again. And the long hair become short.

      I have Red Ombre hair and I am fond of curls. If I want a nice wave I use non heat hair rollers for night long. But Heating curler is much easier. But I have waist long hair and I had to turn my bottom part of hair platinum blond first (which freaked me out first but result was awesome) to get the perfect red ombre. It made the hair rough from the beginning. Since I have smooth silky thin natural straight hair, I am unable to use conditioner on top part of hair. But I did Ombre so I use to use conditioner at the bottom part after every wash. 

      But that was not enough i realized after I curled with heating rod curler. It dried up my hair quickly. Then I bought a Moroccan Argan Dry oil spray. I saw this product in several hair tutorials but never tried because my hair is naturally silky and tend to be oily. Michelle Phan a famous youtuber and introducer of EM Cosmetics is a Vietnamese girl, she actually said in her several recent video to use coconut/herbal oil at the bottoms to hold the natural shine if you have a colored hair. So I thought to give a try just at the bottom since we have similar type of hair. I was surprised with the result!

     My hair doesn't need any conditioner any more. Argan oil is one kind of healer. A bit difficult in the beginning to get use to with the smell but later it's not a problem. It's a non greasy oil. I use volumizing spray on my damp hair in root but i spray 2/3 times my Argan oil at the bottom and just give a nice massage and blow dry. 

     Nice shiny natural healthy Ombre Red hair for day long. No split ends, no damage, normal growth of hair. Some times I use collagen spray/volumizing powder in front side since I HATE teasing hair. But I try to use volumizing powder as less as possible because it makes the hair sticky after the day because of humid weather. 

    If you have extremely dry hair, keep  Moroccan Argan oil spray in your bag. Just spray and brush. A little goes a long way. There are many more products for hair in Moroccan oil range. Review : Beautyaura Citrus Affair body butter

I was using body shop body butters for ages but later got bored and switched to an Australin local body butter brand named BotanicalSPA. But it felt like a pudding in the jar. I gave up that one because I live in a extremely warm and  humid location and that body butter was extremely greasy for summer. Which may be good for one month in winter but not suitable for rest of the 11 months.

I was looking for something non greasy but will moisturize the skin as well since I am 33 so I do need a little bit more care now. I must say Beauty Aura just nailed it. If you have a sensitive skin it's perfect for you. Grapefruit oil is a healing component so it helps in minor skin irritation problem. Best part, it's a cruelty Free product.

Karl Lagerfeld Gold tone Watch

I am super excited after receiving my Karl Lagerfeld gold tone '7' Faceted Bezel Bracelet watch. This range of watches are a piece of Art. It's available in Silver, Rose gold, silver/gold/black mix and Black.

Let me come to detail. This is a watch for Bold women, who usually wear big dials. It is not that big (44mm) because there is another bigger dial size available and 20mm band width. Deployment clasp, water resistant 100 meters.

My first impression looking at the signature black large luxury case of KL was really breath taking. Just looking at the box anybody can imagine how classy the watch can be inside. The knobs are really comparable as jewelry. Movement knob is KL face signatured. This range of KL watched are made much affordable in price.

I saw this watch first time in Chloe Morello's hand. Most of the YouTubers know her as the Australian Makeup artist. She was invited at Cannes 2014 and she was wearing this beautiful watch through her journey to Paris. This is a perfect regular wear watch for university students or working women. About color I must say, for Tan Asian skin except Rose Gold other any color will go fine. The gold lovers can hop in without thinking with the gold tone, it can not go wrong.

স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন জয়া নাকি হুইসপার?

এটি এমন একটি বিষয় নিয়ে যা অনেকদিন থেকেই অপেক্ষা করছিলাম কথা বলার জন্য। আমাদের দেশের প্রথম স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন সেনোরা। এরপর ধীরে ধীরে আসে  মোনালিসা, ফ্রিডম, জয়া এবং ইভানা। আমরা আসলে এত বেশি বিদেশী জিনিস পাই দেশীগুলোর দিকে তাকানোরও সুযোগ হয় না। আবার অনেকে চেষ্টা করার বিপত্তিতেও যেতে চান না। হঠাৎ গতকাল প্রেসকিপশন পয়েন্টে ঢুকে স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন কিনতে যেয়ে মাটিতে গড়াগড়ি খাওয়া জয়া স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিনের প্যাকেটটি চোখে পরলো। ফ্রিডম আর সেনোরাও ছিলো কিন্তু এই দুটির একটি প্রধান সমস্যা এদের আঠা এতই শক্তিশালী যে ব্যবহারের পর প্যান্টিতে আঠা রয়ে যেয়ে প্যান্টি নষ্ট করে ফেলে তাই ওগুলো কেনা বাদ দিয়েছি। জয়া আগে কখনো চোখে পরেনি তাই একটি তুলে নিলাম। বাসায় এসে ব্যবহার করে আমার নিজের যা মতামত তা হলো এটি যদি কিছু কিছু জায়গায় আরেকটু উন্নত করা যায় অনায়াসে এটি বিদেশী স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিনের জায়গা দখল করে নিতে পারবে।

১. এটির অপরের অংশ খুবই আরামদায়ক। মোটেই প্লাস্টিকের মত মনে হয়না যেমনটা হুইসপারে হয়। অনেকেই অভিযোগ করেছেন হুইসপার আল্ট্রাতে রীতিমত চামড়া ছিলে যায় দীর্ঘক্ষণ পরিধানে। আবার হুইস্পারের উপরের অংশ  প্লাস্টিকের মত আবরণের জন্য বাতাস আটকে থাকে তাই দুর্গন্ধের উত্পত্তি হয় যা খুবই অসুবিধাজনক এবং খুবই অস্বাস্থকর। এই সব অভিযোগের পর হুইসপার বাজারে "অনিয়ন" নামের নতুন কটন আবরণের স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন এনেছে আরো কিছুটা মূল্য বৃদ্ধি করে।
২. এটি যেকারো ক্রয় ক্ষমতার মধ্যে। দাম মাত্র ৬০ টাকা যেখানে বিদেশী যেকোনো ব্র্যান্ডের ৮টি প্যাড আমরা সর্বনিম্ন ১২০ টাকা দিয়ে কিনি। জাপানী বা কোরিয়ানগুলোর দাম আকাশ ছোয়া।
৩. এতে একটি হালকা সুগন্ধ দেওয়া আছে যা ৯০% সহজলভ্য কোনো স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিনেই থাকে না। আমি সম্ভবত একমাত্র ইউএফটি নামক একটি দুষ্প্রাপ্প জাপানী ব্র্যান্ডের স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিনে পেয়েছিলাম যার দাম দিয়ে আমি অন্তত ৬টি জয়া স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন কিনতে পারতাম।

যেই জিনিসগুলোতে এটির কিছু পরিবর্তন প্রয়োজন তা হল -

১. প্যাকেজিংটা আরেকটু উন্নত করা যাতে সবার নজরে আসে।
২. আমার চোখে এটির একটি সাইজই চোখে পরেছে। অন্তত ৩ রকম সাইজ রাখা উচিত।
৩. এতে বারতি প্লাস্টিক অর্থাৎ যেটি দিয়ে মুড়িয়ে ব্যবহারের পর ফেলে দেওয়া হয় সেটি নেই তাই এটি সংযোজন অত্যাবশ্যক। এতে যদি মূল্য সামান্য বাড়ে তাতে ক্ষতি নেই।

একজন সুস্থ স্বাভাবিক নারীর মাসিক হওয়া প্রতি মাসের ব্যাপার তাই স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিন অধিক মূল্যে কিনে তারপর তা নিয়ে ভোগান্তির আমি কোন অর্থ খুঁজে পাই না।  আর হাতের কাছে যদি কম মূল্যে একই জিনিস পাওয়া যায় তাহলে কেন ৫/৬ গুন খরচ করে বাজে জিনিস ব্যবহার করতে হবে? কারণ জিনিসটিতো শেষ পর্যন্ত ময়লার বালতিতেই যাবে তাই ব্যাগে টাকা থাকলেই দামীটা নিতে হবে কি? কারণ স্যতিই যদি একটু ভেবে দেখি আসলে এই প্যাকেজিংটাও আসলে স্রেফ পাঁচ দিনের ব্যাপার, প্যাকেট খোলার পর সেটার দিকে ভুলেও কেউ দ্বিতীয়বার তাকিয়ে দেখে না। আর এটাই আসল সত্য। তাহলে কি সিদ্ধান্তে আসা যায়?

আমাদের দেশে এসব বিষয়ে খোলামেলা কথা বলার পরিবেশ নেই বা উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়না বলেই রোজকার জিনিসের মত স্যানিটারি ন্যাপকিনও যে একটা স্বাভাবিক জিনিস এটারও উন্নতির প্রয়োজন আছে সেই কথা কেউ মুখেও আনতে চায় না। পাছে লোকে কিছু বলে। বড় বড় ডিগ্রীধারীরা কবে বুঝবেন জানা নেই যে এটিও আলু পটলের মত নিত্যকার জিনিস।এটি নিয়ে ভাবলে ভালো বৈ খারাপ হবে না।

Review : MTV MUAH Make Up Art Hues by Blue Heaven Kohl Pencil

I just went to a local drugstore and found this Kajal! Packaging grabbed my attention. Not a fond of Music channel otherwise could be introduced with the product face earlier. I thought by the time my Lakme iconic reaches in my hand I can work with this. So truth time :)

1. Cheaper than Lakme iconic or Maybelline Colossal Kajal

2. Interesting packaging

3. Not too much product inside, regular user like me may need one every month (See the photo). But good for may be touch up.

4. Dark enough for Asian skin but not the jet black type dark.

5. WORST drawback, SMUDGES badly. Even without water. Not good for oily eyelid or waterline

6. As per product quality and quantity it shouldn't be more than Rs. 50 from my point of view.

7. It is absolutely NOT a long lasting kajal at all. It doesn't do what it claims. Bottom line WASTE OF MONEY.

From the MTV advertisement girls may go with the trend but definitely this is not a product which someone would buy second time.

Remedy of Dark Circle

Hi Dolls,

I was facing most unwanted dark circles for more than a year and posting question for effective remedy like a paranoid every where. You won't believe that I tried everything from Drugstore $5 to £11 pound product. None of their effect last longer. All I found if you are below 25 then collagen patches/ gel will work. But if you are already 30 or near to these regular products won't work on you as smoothly as they work on young skin. 

I had a special problem of having dark circle on lid, Not under eye. Which actually happens for lack of iron in your body. I started to take Iron pills. Since my eating habit of vegetables were irregular since I am a full time worker and a mother.

The result:

After a month taking one pill everyday after breakfast my eye lids started to lighten up!! And after 2 months it became a bit more better. When I started I really had bad dark circles that's why I had to use orange color corrector every time underneath my concealer. After 3 months  now I don't need any corrector and very little concealer. Neither my eyeshadow changes it color on my lid automatically which makes me happy like anything because I am gifted with naturally good quality skin.

Cons :

If your body is not having enough fiber in food diet, you may face constipation.

Use of "Aloe Vera" in SUMMER

Back again with some new research. Today's topic is "Aloe Vera". A Plant which has been used in cosmetology for more than hundred years. We will talk more about it today elaborately.

It is a plant which can be found every where in Bangladesh more or less growing without any care. Mostly in summer we see lot of Aloe Vera juice sellers are roaming around in the city (the trolley just similar to sugar cane juicers trolley) . Basic point is, it cools up the stomach & gives a refreshing feeling. But interesting part is people don't know they are taking something helpful for their health unconsciously. It is a huge home remedy help without any side effect for diabetic patients. Regular intake as raw or juice of solid aloe will help to keep the sugar level in standard line. 

Using raw gels/extract (if you have a plant at home) on skin regularly helps to recover sun burning, any kind of irritation on skin and for excessive drying up skin. It does contain a little bit oil but too much refined aloe gives slow effect. 

Mash up the gel or blend it in a blender machine and put the layer on tired feet..you can have a great spa at home with out spending thousand of bucks at spa or parlours. We usually over look the care for feet. Aloe vera gel keeps the rough skin moisturised so if you use the layers of these gel spa for every next day or 3/4 times a week, your feet will stay much younger wrinkle free for really long time. 

It helps to cool up scalp as well. Usually in summer time people take 2/3 showers for humid weather but still cooling up scalp is a difficult part. NAVARATAN oil or Kodur Tel can't help more than 5 minutes and later it become heavy for scalp. But using raw aloe vera gel on scalp (not hair) for 5 minutes before shower will help the scalp to stay cool in such hot summer for long time.

Last but not least many face wash, pore minimizers, masks etc. of different well known brands are using Aloe vera extracts for long time for it's herbal effect. So while buying product some time just read out the back part of the products. It may come handy :)

Hi Beauties,

After 3 years youtubing now I thought like to start my own Blog. And I think it will be much easier for women who are searching for beauty product reviews/skin care suggestion in Bangladesh.

Now it is much more accessible for better beauty products and women also became a lot more aware & independent here. Taste also changed, wearing makeups or dresses always depending on season. Drawback is, there are much more for us in market but for climate we can not really adapt everything.

I will try my best to put up those in my own honest opinion for your easiness. Because your hard earned cash worth a lot to me.

 We usually use very limited brands like USA/UK(L'Oreal, Revlon,Maybelline, MUA,Boots,Soap&Glory,Rimmel etc.). But Europe has many domestic brands which can be explored according to our season. Cheaper product doesn't mean bad. Or super expensive Chanel really don't need to be the best for humid weather or Tan Asian skin. I personally explored some European & Asian products and constantly trying since I love makeup and skin care is a must. I am 33 year old woman so I think now I can come to some conclusion about these kind of products.

So today I want to introduce you a different French Brand founded in 50's called YvesRocher. I am a vegan lover in case of skin care or makeup. But i also keep an eye that how much it pays off according to it's price. Have a look and let me know your thoughts. Much more in my experience to share with you.
